But this is the time of the season that every club sends out renewals?

I know they have done a lot wrong in many peoples eyes, but some people are so desperate for a stick to beat them with that they will literally criticise anything.

he needs to back bilic or sack him, the constant meddling is very tiresome, about time he took some blame himself for being a cheap bastard. He's made more promsies for signings in the summer just like he did last year, The man is full of shit

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
An utter slimy vile disgusting cunt if a human. Bet they are panicking at the thought of being tight arse cunts and going down.

To even push ST renewals now is fucking laughable.

Imagine that gaff next season if the unthinkable happened.

Scum

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
I can remember when the Icelandics used to boast that their bank was worth £1,000bn or whatever that they should sell it and invest in footballers.
The silly cunts didn't take this wise advice and are now eating dead puffins out of dustbins.

The collapse of the Western banking system was entirely due to them buying West Ham. Said before if one of these petrol Arabs bought us a car that ran on air would be invented within 6 months.

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
13 Gudmundsson didn't spend a penny of his own money, they took out massive loans from Landbanki, which they partly owned, to fund the purchase and running of the club. He was publicly named as one of the main protagonists of the Icelandic financial collapse.

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
Sullivan could personally visit every West Ham fan in the world and give then ten grand each, cure cancer and stop all wars, and still some of them would fucking find something to moan about that, too.

Trevor B 4:17 Mon Mar 20
Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
The Icelandics were a better class of owner? They were biscuit barons who didn't have the money to buy and invest and instead ripped the arse out of the bank they owned.

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
I never wanted them to buy us, was pretty gutted when they did. They are fucking classless clueless chancers, porn is their level and sums them up perfectly.
I honestly am begining to believe we are cursed. Other clubs seem to get decent owners and you would think a club of our size in London with our history and big fanbase would attract a better class of owner.
It happened once and an entire country crashed and burned (Iceland) to ensure that our owners went bust and that we will never progress. You really couldn't make this shit up.

We've moved to one of the biggest stadiums in Europe and are filling it but our cunt owners seem to have become even less ambitious.
Personally I think that selling our home and soul is unfirgivable unless it means we are actually goung to become a big club who actually WINS TROPHEYS!

Sven Roeder 3:45 Mon Mar 20
Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
We have had a succession of chancers and leeches attached to our club.
Can't we have someone who isn't in it to bleed the club dry or ride on its back?
The current lot are sitting on an asset ballooning in value as the tv income goes ever upwards while raking in 7 or 8% interest on an investment that is well covered and at nil risk of not being repaid.

I don't care what nationality they are.
I want someone to who appoints the best possible manager and sits back and writes as many cheques as is necessary
And is smart enough that you don't interfere in football matters because you are a business man not an expert on football.

Anyone who appointed Avram Grant to run a football team should take a 25 year vow of silence on any football matters whatsoever anyway.
Unfortunately Sullivan lacks the sense and has too much of an inflated opinion of his expertise ever to take this club forward.
Sell up now and take your money

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
I like the fact that our owners are British, and, in Sullivans case, attend all our games. I'd sooner have them, warts and all, than some rag-head absentee-owner with too many petro-dollars and no connection with the club.
But I'm not keen on Sullivan's love of being in the media spotlight and his eagerness to mouth off whenever the mood takes him.
I think comments such as these are best made to the manager in private. But I'd encourage him to give Bilic a fucking great carpeting right now, because as we can all see he's continuing to make and repeat mistakes that are having negative effects on the teams performances and results.
In my time we've gone from the invisible men of Cearns and Pratt, to the horribly high profile of Sullivan, Gold and Brady.
I think a balance somewhere between the two would be about right.

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
What he should have put is;

"Dear fans,

I apologise. I apologise for not stumping up the cash to sign a decent centre forward. There's no way Lacazette or Batshuayi would have missed Ayews absolute sitter, or either of Carrolls chances for 4 yards out. I apologise we don't have a single finished in the squad, and I apologise for being such a tight wanker. I also apologise in advance for not bothering to buy a decent centre forward this Summer either, and also not bothering to solve our problem at RB.

Your sincerely,

Short Dave."

"Trouble is Sullivan sees himself not only as owner, but as Director of Football...he's basically a meddler who feels his money gives him a right to get involved....and maybe it does...but it doesn't make it conducive to the good of the club."

100% this. Scary, isn't it?

Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again

What is wrong with the owner of the club voicing his displeasure over yet another god damn awful shambolic defensive display ?.

He warned Bilic last week and lo and behold exactly the same issues this last weekend.

He is a right to question what the backroom staff have been doing all week about it

nothing is wrong with any of this behind closed doors, putting it in the public domain is very wrong.

Imagine if you boss sent a weekly email out detailing what you had done wrong and could done better, would be a big problem. However if he addressed you personally then fine

I don't know how this cant be grasped

Stubbo 2:39 Mon Mar 20
Re: Sullivan Gobbing Off Again
...and it's right...he's not actually said anything inaccurate. But it doesn't need to be comment from him. If he'd NOT said it, no one would be cunting him off. It would be a perfectly normal situation for the owner to have made no comment after that game at the weekend and left it to the staff that handle first team affairs.

These comments are best from the manager, and his decision to make them undermines the manager and his role at some level. It says,"I've spotted the issues and I'm apportioning blame to the managers and players." It doesn't say,"I picked the manager so it ultimately rests with me." It say,"you feel let down...and do I...these guys need to sort themselves out!" (with an undercurrent of "or else").

It simply doesn't help anyone, and certainly doesn't foster an all in it together feeling.
